General Tasting Information

  • Stonington Vineyards offers wine tastings daily, year-round from 11 AM – 4:30 PM. We are a member of the Connecticut Wine Trail.
  • The vineyard closes for Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We are open 11 AM – 2 PM on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Otherwise, we are open daily and year-round for all your wine drinking needs!
  • Please visit us on  FACEBOOK or INSTAGRAM for any closures due to weather, or our latest happenings.
  • From June 1st through October 1st we offer extended seasonal hours on Saturdays from 11 AM – 7 PM. In addition, we offer a Friday Night Summer Concert Series in July & August from 6-9 PM.
  • Food is welcomed and encouraged. Pack a picnic and come enjoy!
  • NO other alcohol, besides Stonington Vineyards’ wine, is permitted on property. No water bottles or other beverages are allowed on the property.  We do have water and other non-alcoholic beverages for sale in the Tasting Room.
  • Pets are welcome outside on our grounds but must remain on a leash at all times. We do not allow pets inside the Tasting Room or inside the buildings.
  • In order to ensure an enjoyable, relaxing and safe experience for our guests, the last tasting of the day is 30 minutes prior to closing time.
  • Tastings are $16 and include a signature keepsake glass. Limited release wines are $2 additional when available.

Group Tasting Information

  • Stonington Vineyards requires reservations for groups of SEVEN or more. If your group is six people or under, you do not need a reservation.
  • Group reservations are booked on the hour from 11 AM – 3 PM, and based on availability.
  • Stonington Vineyards is only able to accommodate a limited number of reservations per day.
  • If you are over fifteen minutes late for your reservation, we cannot guarantee your group tasting, as it creates a domino effect for the entire day’s reservations. Please note, tastings are non-refundable.
  • If you are unable to obtain your desired reservation time, groups over six are more than welcome to enjoy the property with bottles, or glasses of wine. Space is limited inside our Tasting Room, so our lawn is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the property. Please note, this option is weather dependent.
  • Groups are welcomed and encouraged to bring food and picnics.
  • NO other alcohol, besides Stonington Vineyards’ wine, is permitted on property. No water bottles or other beverages are allowed on the property.
  • Regardless of group size or plans, if you are arriving in a chauffeured vehicle, we kindly ask you call us in advance.
  • We respectfully request that all groups pay in one payment transaction.
  • Group Tastings are $22 per guest, and include 6 wines, keepsake glass, and one-hour reservation time.
  • You may reserve our gazebo for your tasting or enjoyment for a two hour period for $200. Our gazebo can hold up to 10 people maximum and normal per person tasting fees apply.

Winery Tour Information

  • We offer free winery tours Wed, Thurs, Friday and Sundays at noon, weather dependent.
  • Private Tours are available during the weekdays only, and can be arranged by calling us at 860-535-1222, or e-mailing Susan, at events@stoningtonvineyards.com
